You can change the texture (background pattern) and format (tile size, icon placement, name and modification date usage) used to draw the palette tiles. By using different textures and formats you can create palettes which are unique and easy to identify.
Tile Sets are a new addition to VersaTile. To create a Tile Set, first access the Tile Preferences area by selecting "Add Tile Set" from the "Palettes" menu.
In this area you will find controls for creating new textures and formats, deleting old textures and formats, importing textures and formats, and exporting textures and formats.
Next, choose a texture, format, font, and window title bar color combination from the Tile Preferences area. You can use the "Apply" button to apply the selections to the front most palette, or choose "Save as Tile Set" to save the combination for later use. If you choose "Save as Tile Set", the new Tile Set will appear in the Palette's menu. Selecting the Tile Set from the menu will change the front most palette to match the choosen configuration.
